Animations: List Slides

Slide #3

1. animate bullets

Go to the first list slide Animals and click anywhere in the text/list box (but do not have any text highlighted!) ...

Add any green animation and you should see numbers 1-4 beside the bullets.

In the Animation Pane, click on the grey bar to expand the list.


If you don't see little mouse icons beside each animation, right-click on any of them and Hide Advanced Timeline

2. animate pictures

Click on one of the photos, then hold SHIFT and click on the other photos so they are all selected.

Add any green animation.

You will see a "5" beside each photo.

The Animation Pane should look like this...

 

With your picture animations still highlighted, go to the Start option on the toolbar and use the drop-down menu there to change it to With Previous. 

When you've done this, no Picture animations have a mouse icon beside them.


If you clicked off and your picture animations are not highlighted anymore, just use the drop-down menu for the first picture to change the Start to With Previous.


3. Picture Order

  1. Select the picture for bullet #1 on the slide. 
    This will highlight the Picture animation  in the list. 
    Drag it up under the first bullet's animation and let go.
  2. Select the picture for bullet #2, and drag that up in the animation list.
  3. Select the picture for bullet #3, and drag that up in the animation list.
  4. The last picture is automatically with the last bullet; you don't have to do anything.
  5. Preview. Make sure the right pictures coming in at the same time as the matching bullet.

Slide #4: Foods

  1. Animate the bullets. Then expand the list in the Animation Pane.

  1. Add animation to all the pictures on the slide. Then change Start to "With Previous".
    There should be no numbers/mouse icons beside Picture animations.

  1. Picture order - change each picture to come in with matching bullet. 

Slide #5 & 6

Repeat the same steps on the other list slides:

  1. Animate the bullets and expand the list in the Animation Pane.
  2. Add animation to the pictures and change Start to "With Previous" for all of them.
  3. Change picture order to come in with/under matching bullets.
